A delicious Flaky Pie Crust that's healthy!

INGREDIENTS

  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tbsp
  • Shortening 1/2 cup
  • Ice Water 1/2 cup

METHOD

METHOD

  • Max 1 cup all purpose flour and 1/2 tablespoon of salt.

  • Add 1/2 cup of shotening of ice water and mix.

  • Slowly add 1/2 cup of ice water and mix.

  • Dust counter and pie crust with flour to avoide sticking.

  • Roll pie crust 1.5 inches large than your pie dish.

  • Take your thumb and two fingers to pinch the crust along the edge of the dish.

  • Poke some holes with a fork.

  • Fill with desired pie filling and bake.
